3D Printing. What have you done?

The filaments cost about 27 $ for a roll of 1 kg. Its not so much as cost with this hobby, but the learning curve.
I am enjoying the journey.

Trying to make a handle bar mounted cradle for my GoPro 9 remote. 2 nd attempt.

The handle bar bout part came out well, but the cradle design was all wrong. Bcak to the CAD ( I am still learning) and designed a new one. Still at work. The basic cradle shape is done but the curved bottom where the remote will sit...., I have started the scotch. My head hurts.

The clamps for the Handle bar came out pretty good. Has even a nut holder.

Is that the same one on a K1200S?

The servo brakes that are at high risk for failure and cost a fortune to replace (no one does repairs anymore), were only on the K12RS/GTs for the US model years 2002-2004 (TTBOMR). They may have been on and stayed around longer on the LT models.

They are/were referred to a whizzy brakes due to the sound when activated.

They were never on the S models.

They were a bad excursion into the weeds by BMW in the name of technology.

I’m pretty sure the early K12S’s had the servo brakes. I had to replace one (under warranty)

Yup, 2005 had servos. Deleted in 2006-7

Aviator, now you've made something really useful. I like it. You could have several of these stashed around the compound and holding five 30-round mags each, just in case things go South in the old neighborhood!
