        It was cold. About 20-30 degrees warmer than Ohio though. We would have really enjoyed some days in the 70's. I was thinking about renting a bike to ride but with temp and wind chill, it would not have been much fun.

      Just a side note. Driving in the Daytona area was reminiscent of Boston. No patience and aggressive. We had one serious close call when making a left into a parking lot off of the main road. An SUV passed us on the left at speed and on the wrong side of the road. A fraction of a second and checking the side mirror kept us from being T-boned.

      BTW, the passing car crossed the double yellow and was in the oncoming left turn lane!

        I don't swim in the ocean or inlet anywhere near this area. I fact, there are only a couple of springs I swim in.
