    802Mike, that's true! The one and only time I went to the drag strip (Englishtown NJ) was with the FJ. Learned how to do a smokey burnout (thanks to my brother Bill!), then got to the staging section with the wet asphalt and did one mediocre burnout, then tried another but wound up wheelie-ing nearly vertical (in front of the crowd of course) and just barely recovered before riding into the racers in front of me.
    Then pulled off an 11.7 second quarter mile run, which pleased me fine for a first time go Fun times.

      I used to drag race my '69 mach1 before I had a bike. Knowing how easy (not often, but still easy) it is to lose a car at the start I never considered drag racing my motorcycles. Street car, 7:90s in 1/8 mile in 1974.
