2016 and I did an iconic Lap of Tasmania with some friends.

I rode this:



to the west coast and stood on the Edge of the World:



Then road some amazing roads and tracks south to Southport and Australia's southernmost pub:



Ferried it over to Bruny Island for a bit of adventuring:



then headed north and back up the east coast:



to finish in Launceston. Despite being wet and freezing, was sad to give the keys to the rental bike back:

This picture makes you look so young. It's fun to look at the photo knowing you now. There's an undeniable difference, but it's not a bad difference. Now, Pete's post above when he was 25? That's scary!

1986 saw my return to the saddle via "big red". rode it till 1992 when i sold it and bought a tractor. kept the tractor till 2001 then sold it and acquired this....."ol' blacky;"

in 2004 a friend of mine....ya'll may know him, names The. well ol' The finally talked me into a ride to Louisville to the BMW shop. came home on this..."grey ghost" . did 3 years and 55,000 miles. thanks The.

This was my first second bike 2005? F650GS. I wanted an adventure type bike. Rode up the local ski slope, found allot of creek crossings in my area. Even had a small collision with a boy on his bicycle, he crashed and then got up and rode away. It was fun for about two years. Needed something else.

You tell yourself, "I'll never have one of those" or "I'll never ride one of those" and then you find yourself in a foreign country and want to take a ride. Any ride. I thought the Ducati jacket was a nice touch.

Took the beast to a track day just west of Stockholm. Afterwards I rode around with this guy for a while, the Mad Dane. Not one the back, on the Shadder.

I remember that! There was a picture of hime sliding it on the side. He rode on what looked like a go-cart track.

Yep, the local club could rent a go cart track for 5 dollars (equivalent) per person per day. JesperC was his i- name. great guy, and even if was a Shadder i got to ride in Sweden.
