Circa 1980 in Daytona on my Yamaha 650 Turbo....the turbo blew three times resulting in three new bikes...inevitably turning in the third for a Maxim 650.

With all the warning signs along the way a couple of trucks still
try to drive over Smugglers Notch every year and get stuck. The
          fines are stupid high.

One of the many bikes over the years.

            Its having a nana-nap

Ed was fine. We had radios for contact but by the time I tried to call him I was out of range. I rode back several miles to find him. It was a great trip of mostly camping.

We rode through a buffalo preserve in Canada years ago (who reads signs?) That was BEFORE I knew that buffalo sometimes consider motorcycles and bicycles as "not of their herd" and act accordingly. Luck over brains, once again.

I think I've seen these Chairs somewhere by the roadside in the Midwest before. The Floral Print would fit in my Grammys House. I guess people are the same everywhere.

We saw a mattress next to the road on our trip last week.
It was too cold to try it out

EWWWW! I draw the line at mattresses. Sitting on that manky sofa was bad enough but mattresses - *shudder*

A few days before a trip I installed new tires on our bikes.
The morning we leave I pull the bikes out and happen to glance at the front tires.
The tread was going one way on one bike and the other way on the other bike.
One of them had to be wrong
It didn't take long to flip it around and we were on our way.

I could swap wheels from bike to bike without a problem.
That didn't work on the K1300S with TPMs
