Circa 1980 in Daytona on my Yamaha 650 Turbo....the turbo blew three times resulting in three new bikes...inevitably turning in the third for a Maxim 650.

Ed was fine. We had radios for contact but by the time I tried to call him I was out of range. I rode back several miles to find him. It was a great trip of mostly camping.2023 Honda CB500X

A few days before a trip I installed new tires on our bikes.
The morning we leave I pull the bikes out and happen to glance at the front tires.
The tread was going one way on one bike and the other way on the other bike.
One of them had to be wrong
It didn't take long to flip it around and we were on our way.
