We’re related! Did 5 ribs, lung and other stuff a few years ago and it was the worst! But, it gets better after some weeks and you’ll be ready to move on.

Sorry for your crash and hope you’ll feel better soon!

Four ribs once for me, and rolling in bed even hurt.
I’ll bet with 7, you can’t blink both eyes at the same time without some pain.

Get well and be well John.

Wow Dr, sorry to hear about the crash but happy to see you are still with us and typing. I found hugging a spare pillow in bed helped for the ribs and yeah avoid hanging out with comedians.

Also hoping for a “Speedy” recovery. Needs a new left foot peg, new left pillion peg (pillion pegs might just get removed), new fuel tank, new bar and clutch lever, left front indicator and bodywork panel.

You don’t need indicators on a trackbike..

Very perceptive Postie. I keep the bike registered and take it out on some of the great riding roads nearby.

FAR OUT! Just catching up with the goss and gutted to read of your off John Bro, and the damage to yourself and the Trumpie. Funny how the mind just cuts out the bad bits.

                How are you recovering?

                Had a second dump yet?

                  Hi Fran
All good. Have ridden a bike yet, but I wanted to today. It would have upset my wife, so I gave it a miss.

Finding myself having some memory issues. Nothing serious, just on the occasion I can’t recall some things straight away. Like I couldn’t straight away remember one of our workers names the other day, even though I’ve known him for 3 years.
                  I remembered eventually.
Still have no recollection of the lap before the crash and 8 hours after.
                  I’m pooing OK

So it's been 4 months since I last rode a motorcycle. Mainly due to Covid and the weather. But went out for a ride yesterday on the K1300R. Turns out I still enjoy riding which is good. Here's a little Relive thingy
