I checked to see if Curt is going. He called today to see if there was a double so he could share a room with someone.
No doubles left. When I look at the site all I see is one single for Mon, Tues and Wed nights.

The are a couple more 'canes heading for the gulf. The threat is greater inland than on the coast nowadays due to cowfarts.

We reserved a double because the kids were coming. Now they are not. If anyone wants to trade their single for our double to share with Curt we would be fine with that.

I have a single and Amy is not coming. I could trade a double and Curt could stay with me if he could put up with me just saying I’ll call him tomorrow. Somebody let me know. I’ll try to keep tabs on the site 812 499-4811.

Whatever it takes to get Curt here. Has anyone noticed that since Mrs. Gordon is no longer around, Curt is less enthusiastic about AHR, and in fact, just life in general? Her absence was a big blow to Curt. Please be sensitive with him if this subject comes up.

I don't think anyone in our group has had sensitivity training in a long time

JJ would happily give sensitivity training to anyone he can sneak, I mean that wants it

                    Curt is out.
He crashed his Guzi while out riding with Gary. He's headed to the Fredericksburg ER to get checked out.

He said No broken bones but he did separate his acromioclavicular joint but the alignment appears to be within normal limits.
He was able to ride back to Gary's place.
Banged up shoulder and knee. 4 to 6 weeks recovery.

I wonder if this will REALLY buff out. I told Curt it would be just fine, but on second thought, I'm not sure!

There's holes in the fairing. Hard to buff out a hole
The scratches on the exhaust look deep.
                      Bent handlebar
Missing foot peg but the mounting plate looks ok.
Can't tell if it's dirt or scratches on the head.

Tyson I can bring a Arkansas map for you.
You mentioned Butler maps. I use those to look at in the motel room and plan routes, but they're too pricey for every day use on the bike.

Lee, I should have let you know that I tried that link you provided. It worked great and I got two nice new Arkansas maps within about 3-4 days. Thanks!

                      Is that a custom "tail tidy" . . . on the K1200?

Thanks for the photos. Cathy is in that photo and that was definitely the night we met you guys for the first time. We just saw the parking lot bonfire and turned around, pull in, and were met with great hospitality. We were on the '83 Honda CB110F. It's been a fun ride ever sense spanning two websites and 15 years.

To quote from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, "Oh, I've had such a curious dream". Only it wasn't.

What a mess. Many confirmed deaths, many people missing, roads washed away, landslides, trees down EVERYWHERE. We got out yesterday to grab a bite at the local Subway, One of few places open and was the first time in nearly a week that we got to see on their TV of the actual destruction. We have yet to get our power back on but the trucks are all over the place in our area. Bless them! There are all sorts of emergency resources in our area alone, can't imagine the other areas. Chimney Rock village is gone.

But the community is working hard to help each other. We went to donate food to a local church. They fed us. But we are mountain strong and we'll get though it.
Leaving for in a few minutes for AHR. Can't wait to see y'all!
