    New to me R1200GSA

New guy here, escaped the i-BMW site unscathed with minor twitching.....
Just purchased my first adventure bike, have been riding BMW's a long time but all K bikes. I currently ride a '14 K1600GT and wanted to add a new bike to the stable. Found a nice 2013 R1200GSA 90th anniversary addition (air cooled) fairly local at the right price and miles with 15 months still left on the extended warranty. Pick it up tomorrow!
I'll be searching for farkles and tips on here so hit me up with whatever you think I need.
Glad to be here thanks to Joe for the invite

Welcome! We rented a R1200GS in Colorado a few years ago, came home and bought a 2014, then sold it for a K1300S, then sold that and now have a 2018 R1200GS which we are loving!

Flip lids? e.g. Shoei Neotec II?

Forgot you're a bloke and can only do one thing at a time

We are as amazed as anyone. The GS is FUN without begging to go fast. We went from an Arabian to a Morgan.

Good comparison, Morgan Horse Farm is just down the road from me as the GS flies.
