    Honda CB500 X 2022

    My new toy.
After taking the CRF250 L to Mexico last summer I realized it was too small for what I was doing. This bike won't make me feel like I've been running a chainsaw all day. I have pretty much finished spending all the extra money to get it where I want it. Sargent heated seat with controller on brake reservoir - Rally Raid bash plate - SRC tail rack - Garmin Zumo XT GPS - Barkbusters Storm handguards - ebay adjustable windshield extension - Fumoto valve and tube for changing oil without a tool. - Pigtail harness with SAE on rear - Honda auxiliary power outlet in dash - Power plug for heated gear - Cardo FREECOM x for helmet.
The LRP will be up for sale soon. It too was heavily farkled.

Pete, looks like a VERY solid choice. Should fit you like a glove. Powerful for highway running, while light and just agile enough for off-road stuff, so long as you are not following directions given by, or routes led by, BMJ or Matt.

That's cool Pete. I love those Fumoto valves, I have them on almost everything. I was a little afraid to put one on the K13 because the pipes run so close.

I would not put one anywhere that would expose it to speed bumps or rocks. With the plastic tube it should make draining the oil much easier.

Cool Pete, why didn't you go back to the KLR 650?

Smoother with the 2 cylinders. Slightly smaller and lighter. Just a little bit more power. I like Honda's. As you mentioned I've already had a KLR. Variety is the spice of life.

As you know, I'm picking up a new KLR Adventure later this week.
I wanted something for the local gravel roads here and could ride two-up.

You can take that thing around the world. I loved my KLR. When I went to Baja with Mike and Ed they had problems with their GS's the KLR was flawless. They are also easier to handle in the sand.
