New aircraft

I have been building an airplane for a loooong time now, and finally am here.
I had to get checked out (CFI) in the plane because it was an experimental amature home built, and checked out for high performance endorsement. It is awesome and does 210 miles an hour.

What engine did you put in it Mani? Details of the panel? Come on and give some details!

It has a Lycoming IO540 with a MT 3 blade composite prop. More than 260 HP.
The Avionics: 2 Garmin G3X touch screens (10.8") a Garmin GTN GPS/ NAV, 245 audio panel and a 305 autopilot, all connected via canbus. Everything else is remotely mounted behind the main panel. All Garmin.
It has ALL the bells and whistles.
There is lot more to do.

Bummer - no margaritas or Dos Equis for you at a fly out lunch. After getting my glider rating I asked the FAA examiner about the "8 hours bottle to throttle" rule and if it applied even in the ship I'm flying doesn't have a throttle? He chuckled and said "What do you think?"
