Armstrong has said that he feels safer on curvy roads than straight ones because the drivers have to pay more attention to what's happening ahead. But then again, he's in Texas and probably doesn't deal with all of the blind hill crests that we have in southeastern Ohio.
Armstrong is also going up the hills at 15-20 mph as opposed to my 3-5 mph! Cars have a lot more time to see him. They go by me so fast I can hear the driver ask "What was that, Martha?"
