    People I know that have the RT swear it lacks nothing they need.
    If it wasn't for the love of taking dirt roads I'd consider one......
    However, as I age I feel I may need a lighter bike for local riding
    and another like the RT for longer trips.
    All that shiny plastic and chrome to shine though.......

    On the 1600, "so is not for the feint hearted" ??

      Why I picked up a slightly used F800GT with less than 300 miles on the odometer..a fun little commuter ..and the GS/A for the long haul..?
