An M1300S would be very, very interesting! I am not so interested in the GS because I think the power delivered from the LC Boxer motor is plenty for the bike.

M1300GS would probably gain a few more pounds, and it sure doesn't need that. BMW created a MotorSport version of the K100RS back in 1987 but it was cosmetic only. Then they did a proper Motorsport version of the K1300S back in 2016. We didn't even know this model existed until Sept 10th of this year! A hidden gem for sure! Akrapovik exhaust, HP rearsets, and the HP wheels, 1.2 pounds lighter per wheel. And it's a beauty to see in person. We should have known about this years ago!

Noooo, I admitted that VBulletin nuked your thread. I am innocent I tell you. Besides, as you know first hand, when I fup, I fup royally.

And BTW, how is a true Motorsport edition NOT related to this thread? The K1300S was the first true Motorsport (more power, lighter weight). And your thread was the second on the same subject. Besides, my post was on Aa3jy's thread, not yours.

And I didn't blame VBulletin. I quoted the VBulletin forum. They know it's a bug. Good grief. You could have reposted in less time than you spent on these replies.

K1300 including the motosport is a discontinued model. Gone! But the new "M" series of S1000 bikes and the GS is yet to be released. Its the future. How can you even think the two threads are related or one and the same? Besides, you just found out about the motosport 24 hrs ago. C'mon Tim. I love ya!

Interesting. This version of the K1300S had nothing extra in the engine performance department but had lots of nice aftermarket goodies - like the forged wheels and the rearsets etc. I have one. I's a great bike. It'll be interesting to see if BMW offer proper M Sport bikes i.e. with a definite performance upgrade in terms of both engine and suspension. Like the BMW M3, M5 and M6 as opposed to the "standard" models with some M Sport goodies added.

Recently BMW has spent time/money developing the new 1800cc Boxer versus the usual stuff. We'll see how that pans out aye?
