Thank you to the Veterans here

Would like to thank my fellow Veterans Joe and DYL (at least that I know of) and all the others who have served and in combat in the service to our great country.
Good job folks and proud of you!
Those of you who did please come forward and share.

Thanks to all you guys and gals out there in uniform. The irony of most of you is that we seldom if ever know the sacrifices made. Case in point, look at the pic below then click the link below it. Again, thanks for all you have done and will do.

A little late but I want to extend my thanks to all the vets here & elsewhere, for you sacrifice & dedication to our great nation. I'm proud to have some of you as friends & acquaintances.

I'm with you Fran. Armed forces are often involved in wars that start 'cos politicians want to prove a point. Our vets here are treated dismally on their return from war zones with very high suicide rates. It sickens me that once the soldiers have done their masters bidding they are thrown on the trash heap. It's pleasing to see the massive increase in interest in ANZAC day by young people that weren't alive even in the 80s. They at least appreciate our Digger's sacrifices
