In the early 80's I represented Roger Hull when he was the publisher of "Road Rider". Roger sold the magazine to "Fancy Publications" (ever see "Cat Fancy" or Dog Fancy" magazine?) Fancy became the publisher of Road Rider, and kept it in print until about 1990, when the publisher changed the magazine to "Motorcycle Consumer News" or MCN which remained in publication until earlier this year. While working with Roger, I met Clem Salvadori who was working for Road Rider at the time. We formed a close friendship that has lasted to this day and he remains my best riding buddy. Nice to see if MCN can make a comeback.

Met him in December '80, a month after the publication date of that magazine. I had ridden from Los Angeles to Laguna Beach where the Road Rider office was located to drop off the first article I wrote for the magazine.
