    What Rallies are we going to continue having?

    I had a brief conversation with someone at AHR last week regarding what rallies we are still attending and which rallies are going away. There are two factors really, attendance and who is hosting them. I have heard rumor that next year will be the last SGR hosted by Charlie and I want to do at least more more DGR. THCR and AHR are still being hosted. We have not had any activity for KHCR or RMR in a few years. So here are my thoughts and let me know what you think.

    I will schedule one more BRPR at Big Lynn Lodge in Little Switzerland, NC. This will be the first week of June 2027. If someone else wants to pick it up, please speak up.
    I will wait until September of 2028 to host one more DGR at Tapoco. It will be expensive (they have gotten expensive) and I will not sign a contract, so it is everyone on their own. I am waiting until 2028 so it will not impact SGR if it is indeed the last one.

    THCR and AHR are scheduled for 2027.

    I am posting this to see if anyone else wants to pick up herding cats for these rallies. It's not rocket surgery, it just takes time and planning. Speak up if you want to take it over.

    I'll respond so you don't get lonely. I'll probably do BRPRs as long as we have them just cause that's the closest one to me. This year's was a good gathering and I'm excited to go next year when the whole Parkway might be open. I want to do one more Arkansas, always loved it out there but it's something like 1100 miles from me. Probably done my last Texas. I might be interested in something, even informal in Kentucky again. Always liked Kentucky even though I totaled a bike there once. Just one man's opinion. And rocket surgery?

      Joe I can honestly say that in the long list of aspersions and accusations directed towards me in my life that no one has ever accused me of being the sharpest light bulb in the tool box

    Humm, haven’t been to a rally in a while and it is not by lack of desire to see you all but one thing has to change before I return. That said, if the last DGR is slotted for 2028 …I may choose to overlook that one thing. Miss you guys.

      Eric I'd come to a Canadian rally if I could get Bill Morgan to go and sweet talk the border guard again. She probably got employee of the month with the amount of information she received from him. That was one heck of a trip.
