    Mold

Just a little tip, I found out the hard way, my last bike trip I ran into a couple days of rain and although I brought my rain gear into the hotel room to dry out overnight it must not have dried completely, the next morning put it back in the panniers and go on my way, fast forward a month 1/2 later, I put my bike away for the season, I usually wash all my gear for the winter, pull out the rain gear to wash, full of mold, I was able to get 90% of it cleaned by using a mold stain remover for marine use. Lesson learned, when you get back from your trip, take rain gear out to let dry thoroughly.

    Good reminder.
Anything that gets wet on a trip I bring in the house and let dry for a day or 2.
If I use a bike cover I make sure to dry it at home.

I just remembered, we have small covers that cover the handle bars and GPS if we don't use the bike cover.
I forgot those and pulled them out now.

It's a PITA but I hang everything in the garage for a few days after a trip.
My tent gets set up and dried in the sun before packing.
