I'd snap mine and get rid of a few bikes. Out of five, three are road-ready but I only
ride the GSA.
I am giving some thought to a smaller dual sport bike like the new BMW 750 GS to
blast around the local dirt roads, keeping the GSA for the longer rides.
I'm sure John intended this thread to lean toward the exotic but I think I'd want a little Kawasaki Versys 650 LT to ride some of those roads with Joe and Rob. Light and if I trashed it I'm not out much. Or maybe Mike and I do a two deal on the 750 GS.
I've an old 2003 Tuono in the shed, admittedly not a factory, but still gives me huge giggles whenever I'm on it.
Re which bike ... I'm facing this dilemma as I plan to retire the K13R when it rolls over 200k. There is nothing on the floor right now that appeals to me. Maybe I'm getting fussy, maybe the K has spoilt me. Dunno.
the snap finger/ bike wish would be that I would have every single bike I ever owned back under my roof.
2015 Black BMW K1300R @ 49,200 km / 30,500 mi
2006 Honda FireBlade @ 83,200 km / 51,800 mi - 3 x transcontinentals & a whole lotta hooning DEAD: 2012 Acid Green BMW K1300R @ 172,600 km / 107,200 mi - Hit a kangaroo - RIP dear friend
So, what bike would you get tomorrow if you could just snap your fingers?
My wish would be for fingers that I could just keep on snapping. But today, tomorrow, yesterday... it's been the Tuono Factory that I lust after as well. I just don't ride enough for me to justify spending the money for another bike right now. Especially one that would require track time or jail time for me.
