    My daughter Anjali

    Well many of you here know my lil girl Anjali who has attended numerous rallies with me as a lil girl and growing up.
    Pleased to let yalls know, she has been accepted into 2 Med schools, UT School of Medicine, Memphis and (ETSU) Quillen College of Medicine, in Johnson City, TN. Her choice now.

                I am so happy for Anjali! For those who have not met her, she is wonderful. Smart, witty, and she owns Mani! Now we shall see who the competition for "Best Ravee Doctor" (my money is on Anjali!!)!

                  Mani, I'm so happy she got into an elite school. I didn't know that the UNIVERSITY of TEXAS had started a Memphis campus. Nonetheless, I am sure she can get a good solid background at one of these satellite campuses. Congratulations to both you and your daughter. A proud daddy is something to behold.

                      There's really only one UT - it's in Austin. Often referred to as "THE University." Sometimes referred to as the "40-Acres."

                      All in fun, though, Mani. Congratulations again. It's fun to watch our adult kids succeed.

                      She is now at Baylor, TX. I want her to come back. TX is way too far for me to go see her as often as I would like to.

                      My doc got his degree from TN. Must be a pretty good school cause my guy has managed to keep me put together properly in spite of my efforts!

                      Congrats Mani & to Anjali too! Hard work does pay off & there's no doubt you're proud of her & her continued accomplishments. It's always comforting when your offspring has a focused vision of their life's pursuits... just one thing less to worry about as a parent. There are those in this world, who even at an elderly age, have no idea what they want to do for a living. Of course I wouldn't know anything about that... no names here!
