When I zoom to Iowa the locations and the number of cases in each county matches what our state website shows.

This is probably the most reliable source:

We're treating our home like an OR sterile environment. Nothing comes in the house that isn't disinfected including the mail, packages, groceries, etc. I'm even washing all the fruit and veggies as per this video:

If someone can show me how to properly post a YouTube video I'll stop posting just the link.

I had read where the GA governor has opened up the beaches. Amazing!

Fixed. In all fairness, there is really no way to control the spread of this. The only way China did it was through draconian methods. The US will not stand for the government forcing people to stay home. Hell, I work for the government and they are making me come into the office with everyone else! Even the government won't follow its own guidance.

Then I fear the US is in for a very rough ride.

We're getting some horrifying reports of what's happening over there.

Over here ... Last night WA shut its borders. About a week prior we went down into regional lockdown. WA has 9 regions, and I'm in metropolitan, albeit outer metro. There is a police road block 1 km up the road southbound from where I live. I can't even get to the Canning Dam Road, which is a shortcut I go to visit my Dad, and where I hit that roo last year. I can ride over to see him on compassionate grounds but they want me to go the long way down the hill along the highways with everyone else. I prefer to go the quiet route through the bush without seeing anyone else. Crazy! But I gotta do what they tell me to do otherwise its a $50,000 fine. Seriously!!

We're told to expect to be living like this for at least 6 months, if not longer.

Geezuz all ... STAY SAFE !!!!

Well, the US isn't alone with ludicrous people doing stupid things. They are shooting people in the Philippines for violating social isolation policies. A guy in New Zealand was arrested for coughing on people in a drunken stupor. People are still booking cruises in other parts of the world. Russia locked a guy up for walking his dog in a park (leaving the dog!). China ended their lockdown and their tourist sites were packed (google it!). They have reinstated lockdowns due to continued outbreaks. No, the US is not alone.

The Virus data reporting is a weak enterprise therefore the Journalist are presenting misleading information at best.

You only get data from X number of Labs, with X number of Employees that can run X number of Tests, per X number of Test Kits on hand, per X number of days.

You'll never know how many persons have/had the Virus, who don't get tested for what ever reason.

I've been watching YouTube vids on the 1918 Spanish Flu:

My dear departed Grandmother was 16 years old when this happened and I don't recall Her ever saying a word about it.

Very interesting video from an MD talking about our healthcare system and Covid. It's about 30 minutes long and the good Doctor has a joking presentation style. But very interesting.
