It's not the years, Pete, it's the miles.........besides Pete, Goldfinger debuted in January '65, and in case math is not your strong point you were younger then.....
I watched Goldfinger last night. It was released in the summer of 1965. I wasn't shocked by the name Pussy Galore as a 14-year old, but I was pretty surprised it was used in advertising for a major movie release. The times, they were a changin.'
There is a rider who I am not going to mention, (MattB), who got passed on the inside on the Dragon by Allotta Fagina. She then came over to him at an overlook and made him dismount his motorcycle so she could sit on it. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
We watched Goldfinger last night as a family movie night. My 14 year old daughter didn't get the whole Bond ethos at all. "Dad, they're all stereotypical blond, blue eyed women who swoon over him. What's up with that?"
