Debbie made a few masks for us and some people at work.
Two layers of fabric with interfacing in the middle. Thought the interfacing would help a little as a filter.
The interfacing makes them a little too stiff and my glasses ride up messing with my vision and when I wore it to the grocery store the other day my glasses would fog a little.
She gave me another one without interfacing to try the next time I'm out.

I noticed the time I used the mask at the grocery store people would give me more space.
Maybe it was just a reminder for them to give each other space.

Maybe they gave you more space because they know that the elderly are more vulnerable to the virus ... :-)

I heard a thing on NPR the other day about black men refusing to wear masks when they go in stores. I get it.

I generally get 6 feet of space in the store with this. Maybe it's the mask, maybe it's the axe I carry, but I get 6 feet easy.
