    R.I.P. Wayne Marvin

Wayne from Texas passed away yesterday.
Wayne had been in a care facility for a few years.
The last four days he was home with Hospice care.
James thinks this picture was taken 2012 at the River Inn Texas.

The last time I saw Wayne was April 2013.
At that time he could no longer drive.

We first met Wayne on our THCR pre trips. He was always fun to be around. Here are a couple of pics from better times.

DGR 2007 Safety Meeting. Coincidentally this was Joe's first Hooligan ride.

2009 AHR. Wayne and James just hanging out.

And another 2009 from AHR. Getting ready for the days ride with the Refined Hooligans.

Sadly Wayne's health took a turn for the worse many years ago. We will miss you Wayne.

I’m pretty sure I met Wayne at the 2002 THCR at the YO resort in Kerrville. He was part of JT’s Texas Mafia, who were all good guys. I know Wayne has had health issues for several years. It had been a real shame. Sorry to see you go, partner.
I’d rather think someone’s a son of a bitch than to have him think I’m a son of a bitch.

Wayne was one of the good guys. We first met him and the rest of the Posse at the Red River RA rally in NM back in 2002. Our thoughts and prayers are with Barbara and their family.

Never had the pleasure, I think. Always hate to hear when one of us is off to the better place. He sounds like a great guy!

So sad to hear... glad I had the opportunity to hang with Wayne over 3-4 THCR's & a few Hillbillies & get to know him a little.

I never met Wayne, but when this group acts nice and says nice things about someone, I take notice. I am sorry he's gone from the group, too. Reminds us all that life is fleeting, and that we should ride whenever we are able, and be nice once in a while.
