When life conspires against you

I've been slammed recently with things. Just stuff that normally doesn't get in the way of living life, or should I say LIVING life. But anyway, these things have kept me off my bike except for a short ride recently. I decided that I needed to get out and I found an excuse, my car. I needed to update the Navigation system and that process takes between 30 and 90 minutes. So I texted the wife and asked her if she wanted to go for a drive and the date was on! We fed the kids and out the door we go.

I took my honey to an overlook on the missing link portion of the Foothills parkway where we stopped and chatted for a few minutes. I'm not sure if the picture will turn out but this is Townsend, TN.


A breeze would come along and remind us that it would be bad to get stuck out there but for a few minutes of chatting an holding hands staring at the pretty sights. It was a welcome break.

This one was pretty easy, but definitely time consuming. The hardest part was downloading the files because their server kept crashing.
