Bears, don't you think Tadej intentionally lead out Van der Poel knowing that he was not going to win. He did it because of the mutual respect and because they had worked so hard together to get that close to the line with a shriking gap? Team loyalty, policy, and the unspoken "rules of the game" will likely prevent any overt statements to be made.

Seems so. He also sacrificed for Del Torro.....

Yes he did. But, Del Torro was a UAE teammate. Also, he didn't sacrifice for him on Stage 21. The final placements on GC and Young Rider were already set.

Who is in charge of checking this exactly?

This Carbon Expert Will Never Buy A New Carbon Bike

My Mt. Zefal Mini Double Shot air pump stopped working today. Out on a ride and got a flat going downhill. The bike got very unstable with severe headshake.

Put in a new tube and the Zefal wouldn't pump to a good pressure. Rode back on a very soft front tire.

The pump was fixed by putting a small amount of grease on to the internal rubber washer and o-ring.

It's a legacy model and Zefal no longer supplies parts for it. I'll need to test it periodically to make sure it will still work out on the road. And maybe carry a backup CO2 cartridge device.

Zefals have a stellar reputation. I'm not sure it is earned. Maybe when they were the best game on the block, they were the "go to" pump. I've had trouble with mine, but "operator error" is likely.

                  Muscle engagement and Saddle Setback

Moving the saddle back recruits more glutes and hamstrings, while moving it forward shifts work to your quads. [1]

Do I want an even distribution, or is there better efficiency in one case over the other?

The 3:1 Rule of Thumb for Saddle Setback and Height Adjustments

Because a bicycle’s seat tube is angled backward (typically around 73 degrees), shifting the saddle horizontally forward actually reduces the total distance between your hips and the bottom bracket.

For every 3 mm you move the saddle horizontally forward, you should raise the seatpost by 1 mm.

For example, when moving a saddle 3 mm forward, the height should be raised ~ 1 mm to preserve the original knee angle.

Note: In general, setback should not be changed more than 3-5 mm at a time. Knee pain is usually the first sign that there has been too much change.
