OK, so finally joined Facebook on Christmas day just to join a local BMW club. A day or two later Susan joins. We initially tried to use the same shared email address but that failed so we signed her up with her email. Now my account is Disabled for violating some rule and they want a photo ID to complete her account setup. Why would anyone submit their drivers licence or passport photo to Facebook?

Could be, at least that one's believable. Mucho Google research shows this is not that uncommon for FB. Sure raises a huge red flag when a company renowned for receiving and selling personal info now wants more personal info. I will NOT be sending them a copy of my drivers licence of passport.Originally posted by 802Mike View PostThis is the first time I've heard of that. Maybe they heard about your getting a GS and want to make sure it's really YOU ?
BTW, JJ might need this. If you send FB a nude photo of yourself they will add blocking software to prevent anyone else from posting nude photos of you. Before you laugh too hard that's no joke, it's a legit FB offer.

Deleted my last Facebook account and stated over. New name new home location new schools all fictional. I do not like anyone having so much information about me. Only accept friends that a personality know. which is not to often since no one can find me. Facebook keeps asking me for more information (phone number, places I worked other Email accounts) I do not give them any of it. Only put pictures and comments on Facebook that the whole world can see and that will never go away.
