Ara is now in Naples Florida and still active as a personal chef.

I fear his pitbull Spirit has passed as he served as a suave for the pain created by the loss of Ara's son.

I'm guessing Ara's been off the road for a couple of years now.

I have not spoken to Ara in years. Last time we talked he was in pretty bad physical shape.

I remember him, but never got to know him well. Admired his photo skills.

He was camped out with Spirit in Death Valley many years ago and I invited him, through the i-bmw site, to join us for my group's Saturday evening barbecue in Furnace creek in Death valley and he showed up on his sidecar GS with Spirit and shared a meal. Was nice to meet him, hadn't heard anything about him in the last several years.
