What pisses me off is that the whole thing has been set up so that you have to register online and then wait for a phone call. How many of you answer an unidentified call? You know if you do they just want to sell you something or enlarge a body part. Usually it's a scammer telling me I'm being scammed by someone else. As I get these calls I block them. I now have to answer EVERY CALL! If you miss the call they do not leave a message because of the HIPAA rules. EVERY business or government agency I call works hard to drive me towards the internet and conduct things there, they discourage person to person phone calls. Why would the state of Florida make such an important thing dependent on a phone call? .... [ I was told to be here today at 5. No sir you were told your appt was at 3, you missed it. Re register.]. An email would not only be faster, there would be a printed record. This is just STUPID.

This is the case in a lot of states, residency. People are to blame for it, they behave irrationally.. My assistant in the office cannot get a shot in TN because she live across the border in GA. True. She is at very high risk.
Y'all do know that if you have chronic debilitating conditions like advanced COPD or on oxygen, you can me considered higher risk that others and will be considered on the spot? Carry a print out from your MD/Specialist of their actual chart note. You can print it out from patient portals. NOT a "note" from the doc.
