My diseased friend's step-son inherited his 2002 K1200RS.....
Yesterday I ran into Brian at the grocery store and he showed me this
picture and told me what happened.
He was on the interstate and said he decided to open her up on a nice
straight section with good line of sight. He dropped it down into fourth
and started pouring on the coal. All of a sudden he saw something
come into sight. All he could do was duck. He hit the deer mid section
and it flew up over him. According to another driver it was like the was
in the opposite lane, it was like an explosion.
He kept the bike up and rolled to a stop, shaking but not injured except
for cuts on the back of his wrists where the fairing cut him. The deer....
it landed on the other side of the guradrail in the grass, dead of course.
