    Pistol Pete passing

What a bummer that Pistol Pete's thread has gone. But, Pete left us on Dec 13,2021 with his family by his side in the hospital. Shame...so many nice thoughts/comments about our friend. But, as mentioned in the prior thread, Linda, has planned a "life celebration" for Pete and I now have the details:

The celebration will be on Sunday January, 9th at:

    Brewer's Alley
    124 N. Market Street
    Frederick, Md 21701
    301.631.0089
    2-5PM

I hope many of us can make it to share our stories of our buddy.

    Doug

Agreed. I am sorry this happened. The original thread was a good memorial for Pete.

I obviously didn't know him, but man he looked good on that Yamaha.

Looks like he would have been fun to be around

Would he had been at the '02 BRPR?

I remember turning onto WV 15 behind him, when I got to the end he was sitting down helmet off relaxing. He was FAST

I checked our 2002 BRPR pix and didn't see him. I have a few pix from 2005 DGR that show a US Park ranger in process of issuing an award to some lucky winner in the hotel parking lot but don't see Pete in them.
