It's been several months now since our buddy, Pete has passed. I've been trading txt messages with Linda (wife) just to see how she's been doing and I guess you could say about as well as can be expected in losing a spouse.
But, in the last exchange Linda wanted to know if some motorcycle buds could join in a gathering at Peaks of the Otter in October. She said that Peaks was a favorite place for Pete and the plan is to spread his ashes nearby. Linda doesn't have a specific date in mind since it would be coordinated with the kids. So the point here is to see if there's any consensus on dates that would work for our collective then I could let Linda know what would work for us, date-wise.
So if you would and you think you could attend such a gathering, please post your preferred dates on this thread to see if there is any commonalty for us that I could provide to Linda. In addition to dates, I suspect that there will be room availability issues at Peaks in October so that'll be a challenge also.
I know she'd love (and be appreciative of) a large turnout of his motorcycling buds.
