    Lever spring

In swapping out some short levers the previous owner put on my (Ken G's old) 2011 K 13s, one of the small springs from the cylindrical cavity inside a lever shot out into my leaf covered driveway. Tedious efforts to find it have failed. Anyone know where a fella could find one without having to buy a new lever assembly?

I thought about an ink pen but it probably isn't stout enough. How about a Hobby Shop? They should have all kinds of springs. Lowe's also has a hardware drawer of springs but probably all too big. Apologies for being of no specific help. Did you try "raking" the driveway with a magnet?

I wonder if the spring is stainless steel?

Tried a magnet with no luck. I just received a collection of springs from a gun place. Thinking of trying a spring I got at Ace Hardware that is a tad skinnier than the 5mm x 17.5mm bmw spring , but not at stout, with a thinner spring from the gun place slipped inside the Ace spring. To give it a little more tension. Thoughts?

Looks like it works. Its raining so no road test. But in the driveway feels and operates nicely.

All it does is keep the lever off the plunger. If it's doing that you're good to go!!
