October Pirates Lair / I-BMW Reunion Party: To Be Or Not To Be... Opinions wanted..

I'd like some opinions and/or feedback on a potential October Pirates Lair / I-BMW Reunion Party. The party was postponed 2 years ago when God put a hit out on me.. ie... a heart attack and now that I'm older and lazier I'm not even sure if I want to make the effort. Not one person has contacted me asking for an update or details. Not one person has mentioned they can't wait to see all the old site members. Putting one of these events together is like herding really old cats which have wandered all over the country. Are you guys and gals still interested in one last I-BMW gathering? Let me know..

The Arkansas Rally is scheduled for October 12-16.

Well bugger me Pirate. I just read the frisbee story at the Black Sabbath concert and I've just got to say that it is one of the best pieces of writing I've ever read. I was transported to being in the crowd, watching the disc land on the stage and looking back at you in awe as if you were Thor throwing a hammer.

And then I read further down in your newsletter and you have links to photos from I-BMW including three links to our Australian Rallies. Thank you for providing those. I hope to be able to download some of them.

Do you have any other stories that you have written that you recommend?

i had to dig up the frisbee story. I hate frisbees, but the Pirate is such a great writer that I knew it would be worth the time. It was. Great writing Jerry!

I still have a 2' x 2' one hanging in the garage that I could send down.
It has a few signatures of members.
I doubt that I would go down in the fall.

I have a 5' x 5' banner. Probably not cheap to ship if it's rolled so it doesn't crease.

I'm in until I'm out. Barring snow, Putin nuclear attack, boneheaded Branden moves or disapproval of my vacation requests made 6 months ahead. The last one seems to be more cancel prone. Last year's Non-Invitational and this June's BRPR have been washouts before I could even get the oil changed. Workin' for the man is not what it used to be.
