The term "artificial intelligence" has been so overused it is almost meaningless today. Does traction control count as artificial intelligence? Lane change assist? ABS? I say no. The key to AI is when the software starts making decisions based solely on perceptions that are commonly associated with human characteristics. Those items I listed are actually done at a level that few humans can attain. And when software starts taking away my ability to operate a motorcycle as I see fit is the day I start riding Honda.

So will AI design / engineer motorcycles?
Will it do so for optimal, real-time-adaptive aerodynamics?
Adaptive engine management?
Et cetera?
Will it also do the coding for the computer programming required for automated / robotic manufacturing?
I'm thinking "yes" and much more.Last edited by wildbears; 05-06-2023, 09:55 AM.
