A Possible Long Distance Riding Technique

A Possible Long Distance Riding Technique

Using asymmetric posture and weight distribution to last longer and feel better?

Maybe most already do this, at least subconsciously.

My work required standing in one spot for long periods. A trick learned to prevent fatigue, and also joint and back pain, was to elevate one foot slightly on a block of wood. The block was switched to the other foot at the first sign of discomfort.

Doing this on the motorcycle came next: one foot forward, one back;, one heel up, the other down; one shoulder down, the other up; weight on one side of the seat or the other; and intermixed periods of symmetry for each of these.

Seemed to prevent fatigue and maybe even prevented some joint degeneration.
