We're decluttering this week and found a magazine article about him. It was written by his friend, Joe Coleman.

Hey Wildbears, I don't know anything about Larry. Can you give us some highlights?

A "tapestry" of Indian Larry by Joe Coleman, a long time friend.

Among others, it depicts Bambi (The Mermaid of Coney Island), Big Daddy Roth (Larry was his apprentice for awhile), Evil Knievel, and Von Dutch. Larry's neck tattoo said "IN GOD WE TRUST; VENGEANCE IS MINE (written backwards); SAYETH THE LORD; NO FEAR".

Larry completed an autobiography shortly before his death. Grease Monkey: The Life and Times of Motorcycle Artist Indian Larry.

Much of the above information was gathered from the February 2006 issue of JUXTAPOZ.
