    Total Eclipse April 8th

I'm right in the path of it here in VT and it's a big deal.
Hotels and ABnBs are booked. There are plans for viewing
    gatherings.
    Anyone have plans?

Thought about seeing it in Texas or Arkansas but motels are charging crazy prices with multiple night stays required.
We were able to see part of the last one before a storm moved in.

Last October, on the way to AHR, we were talking about this with one of the staff at the The Historic Leakey Inn. He said that since Leakey was going to be right in the path, residents were being told to stock up with 2 week supplies, as if it was a hurricane and to stay home. Local motels were asking $500.00 a night.

We can get to the eclipse path in about 45 minutes from home. But due to the expected traffic and other issues, we plan to pass on this one.

My extended family has rented a house in the "mountains" of S.E. Oklahoma right in the center of the path. It should be fun.

We saw a total eclipse in 2017. This one was 83%as viewed from our deck. Still neat!

Our pictures also showed that dark spot in the middle of the eclipsed sun.

There's so much traffic going south on every road here.
