To be honest, I've never thought that the site is slow. Maybe we're just a bit slower in general down here. I log in nearly every day while y'all are asleep and check out all the jokes posted by Martin and Susan mostly. They're great, as is the sealed section "Nice Rides". I'll miss the site if it goes.
As you know Joe, here in OZ most of us migrated from the I-BMW site to a Whatsapp page. It was used just recently to organise a get together in our Snowy Mountains that happened last week. So, I guess you guys that still want to get together for rallies like your BRPR or THC could use that type of forum. I'd join the Whatsapp group if allowed just to see what you are all up to. Basically like your Shoutbox with pictures.

I've made lifelong friends through the previous forum and then kept up with some of you on this one. I've never met you Joe, but one day I'll just turn up on your doorstep and I'm sure you'll show me the rag of love.

I'll keep logging on everyday until it's gone.

Man, would hate to see this site go! Like Doc have not really noticed site was slow (if it is must be Marteeeeeen’s fault). I come here daily and would miss the place and the folks. I have issues with one American but he is not here ( think he must be more of a KTM guy). Made good friends here and would really miss the place if it shut down. I vote option 1 and willing to chip in to make it happen.

I'd say 2 or 3 and move over to WhatsApp like the Aussie forum. The Facebook page is there, I'm just not a Facebook guy. I haven't really noticed it being slow. Greatly appreciate you stepping up to offer us degenerates a home after the sudden demise of I-BMW. Hopefully we still have a few rallies left in us, have become really fond of Arkansas and Kentucky.

Kentucky is usually a fun rally. Good riding and about 9 hours closer than coming to my house, although we still have your same room ready whenever you want it.

Thanks for the response guys. We are going with a modified option two. We will continue to run until I can either fix it or it becomes unbearably slow. If I cannot figure it out and the site gets worse, I will seek a quote for a fix and let everyone know. As far as operating expenses, Bill Morgan covered us with some hefty donations. We are good in that regard.

You've decided #2 and to that, I agree. Just let the thing die. Having said that, I'd hate for it to go away. I feel like I'm a little detached since I no longer ride but seeing wassup and chatting with you knuckleheads from time to time still means a lot to me. By just letting the thing chug along doesn't require any immediate decision but obviously will in time. Perhaps we can all agree upon a common means of communicating with each other so as to not loose contact.

Sad but true....we're all just getting older and are not as active or adventurous as we once were.

And Joe....only the greatest THANKS to you for starting this time and keeping it going after Vic dumped on all of us. You're the BEST!

I hate to see how time marches on and that the sites days are limited. Personally I haven’t ridden for 4 years now due to medical issues. Probably will be putting my bikes up for sale soon so that someone else can enjoy them. It’s been a good ride!

We've all noticed the lack of participation. I'd say let's keep it going, if only for rally info. Although that's waning also. This year I'm not seeing anything about the BRPR, The Kentucky Rally, the Rocky Mountain Rally. Is there anything in Texas this spring? What's an old retired motorcyclist supposed to do with his summer? Yardwork?

I would be ok with FaceBook, if I hadn't gotten kicked off last fall. And I'm innocent. I got hacked by some Southeast Asian, and he did so much bad stuff in my name that they threw the baby (that would be ME) out with the bathwater. No amount of reasoning or groveling has been enough to get me reinstated. But do what you got to do.
