Speaking of Daytona ............ a friend of ours used to set up two tents for Bike week. One at Bulow (quiet-ish) and one at the Cabbage Patch. If he was too drunk (not "drunk", but "too drunk") he'd stay at the Cabbage Patch. One year the Cabbage Patch strung up a Kawasaki 400 after wiring the throttle full open. After 30 minutes of whooping and hollering the little Kawi was still screaming so they brought it down and drained the oil, rewired the throttle and strung it back up. It still took another 20 minutes for it to die!

Our hippie friend had lots of wild but true stories. Wish he'd have written a book!
