Selling Debbie's bike

Arkansas 2024 was the last time Debbie was able to ride. She was not able to see her bike go last year but this summer she decided it was time.
Yesterday we took it to Engle Motors in Kansas City and they will sell it on commission.

Truly. She could and can flat foot that bike. My fav pic is still the one on that messy road in Alaska.

We ordered both bikes with the taller seat. This picture has the tall seat.


Those seats were not very comfortable and we only used them on 1 or 2 trips.

Maybe the new owner will enjoy riding as much as Deb has. From riding 2-up, to riding her K75S to Alaska, to about every place in the Lower 48, Deb is a great sport, a great rider, a friend, and an ambassader for motorcycling.

Her bike sold yesterday
Only 2 people looked at it.
A guy called the shop yesterday looking for a R1250R and the salesman told him to come in and look at Debbie's RS.
He liked it and offered $1,000 under the asking price, which is where I thought it would sell. The salesman called yesterday to see if we were ok with the offer and we said yes.
The guy rode it home yesterday.
The buyer has a R1250R in California and wanted something to ride locally in the Kansas City area.

Well, that guys is lucky. He got a good one that had been ridden well by the previous owner. She also maintained it in top shape by having her own dedicated mechanic.
