Road Trip In A Truck

I took off about six weeks ago to go see my new Grand Daughter in Denver, Colorado. I wanted to visit for a week and then go travel for a few weeks and then return for another visit.
I bought a RoofNest roof top tent. I got the Eagle model. I also bought an Engel refigerator and a Goal Zero 1000 lithium solar generator. I seem to carry a lot of items that require electricity. My goal was to not pull a trailer.

At first it was too cold and then I just got caught up in touring. I'd feel better about heading out into the wilderness if someone was riding along with me. I thought about lying by the side of the road trying to get back to the truck. I actually had a herd of goats run out in front of the truck. Major pucker moment!!!

Dang Pete! Another epic tale... great photos too. Those kind of road trips are always the best. Are all those pics shot on the cell phone or a camera too?

I like the rooftop tent too, that looks like a cool setup. Was it comfy right off the bat or did it take some getting used too?

Only used my phone for pics. Samsung S10 +
It was comfy right off the bat. 3" memory foam mattress, down sleeping bag,down comforter, three pillows a light and a pee jar are always in there. It takes about 3 minutes to deploy. A little longer to stuff it all back down.
