    The Natchez Trace Parkway

I'd never heard of this road until this morning at breakfast when a lady
told me that she rode it on her spring motorcycle trip to Texas. Then
ironically this afternoon I get a text and picture from my daughter that
lives in the Nashville area of her on it.

I'll have to check this out:

I rode a good bit of the Trace from Natchez to Hwy. 72 just north of Tupelo on my "Irresponsibility Tour" back in 2015. Really pretty road and fun for leisurely high speed cruising.

We did it in 2001 end to end with a side trip to Vicksburg.
We enjoyed it because of the history and old homes.
We didn't obey the low speed limit but kept it reasonable so we could site-see.

We'll be on the northern half in October. The last time we were on the Natchez (as in matches) was April of 2005 on our way to Tejas. Everything was in bloom and there was very little traffic.

When I lived in Nashville, I rode the Natchez a few times a year.. IMHO it's more of a "Harley" ride.. While the scenery if pretty nice, the posted speed limit is only 40mph on the Nashville end and it's well patrolled...That's slower than the Blue Ridge Pkwy.. Last time I was on the Natchez I got puller over for doing 98 in a 40.. I was much younger then and slightly less responsible than I am now...

Maybe we need to organize a NT rally....
It should be with camping along the way. Will be the first of its kind !
Can you imagine the fireside "safety Briefings" !!!!!!!

So what; the BRPW is 35, I think. Contrary to your experience, we saw zero cops. Lucky, I guess.?
