    Tryin' to make a comeback!

Hello fellow riders! I've been absent from motorcycling for several years (other than a once a year ride through the Ozarks with the "Hillbillies"), but I'm thinkin' I might try a comeback to the riding community. Between elderly parents, my wife's new businesses, and trying to retire, the past few years have taken me away from riding but I'm seeing new headlights in my future (hopefully). Just wanting to say "Hello!" I'll be bach, baby!

Welcome back! The Carlton-Marion in Yellville is our new spot but it does lack some of THE Gordon amenities.

The CM has a firepit but a bit lacking in 6 foot high drama. Welcome back, Boyd!

It was chilly two years ago, indeed. Just above critical "Blanket Women" temperature cut-off.

        Welcome Boyd!
I might be down that way in late April.
I took eighteen years away from riding back in 1981 after
my oldest daughter was born. It was the right thing to do
for me at the time. I don't regret it at all, the rewards were
        great.

Hell, Boyd, I never considered you as having left!
Don't restrict yourself to the Yellville rally. Think about the BRPr (early June), or the Kentucky Hillbilly rally (August). You need to get in some miles!
I’d rather think someone’s a son of a bitch than to have him think I’m a son of a bitch.

Tryin to get off work for a rally is tough. My new boss won't even let me off three days for the "Hillbilly!"

Glad to hear it, Boyd. Four wheels, or three, no matter how quick they are, are not the same as a well-ridden two-wheeler. Plus, your "local knowledge" is a treasure trove of short-cuts and low traffic routes to the sweet stuff.

I met you. Great BBQ. There are two gatherings this year. I hope to make both.
