Many of you already know me but by chance someone here doesn't know me. My name is Bruce hence my username BruceV. Been riding motorcycles most of the last 50 years. Like them all - from dirt to street - little bikes big bikes - all of them. I live in Western Massachusetts been there my entire life. Today I don't own a street bike or dirt bike - hoping to change that soon.

I do have 2 bikes that are setup for the race track - I don't race them - I do trackdays as often as I can. I have a Yamaha R3 and a BMW S1000RR.

Keep thinking about retiring - work for myself and have slowed down just how much I do work - for some reason I feel guilty about it.

Hi Bruce! With you and track days you might need a 12 step program! Anyway, glad you could make it. I am going to do my first track day ever this year. My girlfriend MattB has talked me into it. It would be cool to see you there.

Also, your bio up top should also include the fact that "you like to talk"

The XR is doing great! Taking her in to SSBMW for a 36k service. Had a great ride with Beech and a bunch of Fools this weekend (extended). We left Pugetropolis for Prineville, Oregon on Friday, then to Riggin, Idaho on Saturday, Republic, Washington on Sunday, then home over Stevens Pass on Monday. Great riding with excellent friends.

Hello From Honolulu. K1300GT on an island 20 miles by 30. You can ride around it clockwise, counterclockwise, or roll over and go back to sleep. In my case the latter, since my KGT is outa whack until I fix it.

I bought the big K two years ago on ebay, picked up in Portland and rode two-up to San Diego, whence we shipped it here. Wife says it was the best vacation of her life.

Prior I rode a K100RS for 12 years. Had another, but it caught fire the first time I rode it. Sold them as a pair. Surprisingly for being on the far side of the world, those two had VIN's only 79 digits apart. Might have been made on the same day, kept together and sent/sold here.

REgret that i-bmwr is gone; hope we can recover the information that was there. I still have my "Volare senz ali" sticker.
