Mercurochrome? Mecurochrome? Hah! That's for sissys. My Dad slathered MERTHIOLATRE on my wounds. That stuff burns like the dickens. Dad would just say that the pain showed that it was necesary and working as it should.

Both mercurochrome and merthiolate left nice orange stains on your skin that you could show off to your friends. I don't know which worked best or even if they worked at all. I'm still here though!
