    I've Been Busy

I"ve been able to make quite a few concerts this year & it's been pretty fun.

    Music is the best!

    Eric Johnson - HOB
Dave Mason - The Kessler Theater
    The Dixie Dregs - HOB
    Dweezil Zappa - HOB
Paul Rodgers (Free/Bad Company) - Toyota Music Factory
Jeff Beck - Toyota Music Factory
Terry Bozzio (solo performance; ex-drummer for Frank Zappa) - One World Theater
'Lil Ed & the Blues Imperials - Bedford Blues Festival
Tab Benoit - Bedford Blues Festival
Kenny Wayne Shepherd (fea. Chris Layton on drums; 1/2 of SRV's Double Trouble) - Bedford Blues Festival
Al DiMeola - One World Theater

I'm off tomorrow night to see Gov't Mule at the HOB Dallas. Best blues/rock band on the planet... period. Then I wrap it all up in December with Bad Company.

    Whew!

This is Terry Bozzio's percussion set up... the dude can play.

I haven't been to a concert in ages. The only live music I get anymore is at my daughter's performances with her HS band. The added benefit is that I get to see good football!

Yeah, he's got a guy who puts it all together for him & as I recall, he said it took about 2 hours. And he played everything you see at some point during his show. Amazing too.

Yeah, I've seen KWS 4-5 times & he was the closing band for the blues festival I attended a few weeks ago. He can play & it was cool to see Chris Layton playing drums for him but then KWS has a similar style to Stevie Ray. I saw him about 10-12 years ago when he toured with Joe Satriani & Steve Vai as part of G3. That was pretty epic. He's also been a regular part of the lineup for the last 2-3 Experience Hendrix tours.

Kenny Wayne was working with Beth Hart a while back, would love to catch that show.
