This is a great song. I really didn't know much about Osborne till I heard this song played for me by a friend. The video that she made with the song is terrific, too. Together, words, music, and visuals are truly religious.

Dolly Parton passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the age of 80, as confirmed by her family. The country music legend was renowned for her extensive catalog of hits, most notably "Jolene" and "I Will Always Love You."

I once heard Dolly say that she really did not love the song "Jolene" but, that it was popular with her fans. They requested it so much at concerts that she sang it anyway. She said that to be fair to them she had to sing it as best she could and that included actually growing to like it.
