Oh so very cool. I remember the old days when BMW was the bike. It still is. Good bike plus a good rider, wow. Will be interesting the next few days for the Isle of Man.

I watched a replay of that race last night. Beubier got shuffled back to about 7th in a melee on the opening lap and came through the field to take first. His team mate was on the podium as well.

Holy Crap! What happened to the rider?

They gave him a 5 second penalty for going into the turn too hot.

Rider was fine. The bike went under the air fence and caught on fire and igniting the tires. The rider stopped sliding well before that.
