    Tragically, Carlin Dunne crashed and was killed just short of the finish line while on a record-setting pace on the Ducati V4 streetfighter prototype...

        Yes very sad. A grim reminder that tomorrow is not promised to us. I've ridden and driven Pikes Peak a handful of times - cold and wet on top. No guard rails and it's a long way down. Thanks for sharing his YouTube Channel JCW.

          The guy was riding his heart out for the new Ducati bike. Lots on his plate, someone like that taking the risk of that mountain is amazing. A great loss for many people. Been on my mind for a week. That run up the mountain like they do against time I think must be very much harder than on a track just against other riders.
