Bad news for MotoGP fans

I went 2019, was hoping to make it this year again... that sucks.
but it wasn't cancelled, just postponed for the time being.

One more bucket list thing put off to some future year and at 62 years old this COVID thing is really putting a crimp in checking the top things off the list. I had planned to go to COTA last year while my son was still living near Austin and now living in Houston we were thinking of going this year. Motorcycle trips in Scotland and Europe delayed. Adventure ride to Tuktoyaktuk, delayed by Canada border closing. And the list goes on.

Listen to me whining about my 1st world problems when so many people have a lot more to worry about.

Tuk is going to happen and I'm hoping things open up enough to do it this year. I'm finally getting to a place in life where I could go AWOL for 3 - 4 weeks and got grounded by the cooties.

This COVID crap is pissing me off.

I've missed the past three events in Austin (though one of those was because the following month I was going to the Mugello race). I had tickets, a killer VRBO scheduled, and a great time planned with my wife at The Isle Of Man and it was cancelled. Rescheduled for this year and BOOM... cancelled again.

I shouldn't complain so much as I have been to COTA MotoGP since the first year so many fun times but covid.

I'm around it daily at work, I hate wearing masks but have almost begun to remember the mask rather than forgetting it in the car every time I get out of the car. I am NOT happy with the "New Normal" and see no end in sight as science shows that it is a normal.
